Jesper Tønnes is a self-taught film director from Føvling, Denmark. Growing up in a small town, he developed a deep love for storytelling and film. His passion for cinema led him to found Rebel Pictures, where he focuses on creating visually striking and emotionally resonant films. Jesper’s journey into filmmaking began in his teenage years, experimenting with digital formats, but he later rediscovered the power of analog film. His projects, such as Intet Vover and The Last Padwan, reflect his dedication to both technical mastery and deeply personal narratives that challenge societal norms. Jesper continues to explore the intersections of identity, love, and masculinity in his work, always with a strong focus on visual storytelling. He now lives and works in Copenhagen, constantly pushing the boundaries of cinema.
